实习与 摩托罗拉解决方案

位置: Embedded Software Engineering Co-Op

经验: “In Summer 2022 I had the opportunity to intern with 摩托罗拉解决方案 for embedded software engineering. I got the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with various teams and very much enjoyed my internship experience. It was very fun and I learned a lot over the course of my internship. I am excited to be able to continue as a Co-Op for Fall 2022 and part of Spring 2023 and am very much enjoying my time with 摩托罗拉解决方案.”

实习与 Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab

位置: Participated in the ATLAS Intern Program during the Summer of 2022; accepted a full time offer for Associate Professional Staff 1 within the Spacecraft Power Engineering group.

经验: “I found the internship application because a friend recommended that I fill it out. Honestly, I filled it out thinking "There's no way I'm going to get this." Sure enough they called me up, I interviewed, and I got the internship. I got the job offer while doing the internship over the summer. I believe that the reason I was offered a job was because of my consistency and eagerness to join the team. I made it very clear from day one that this was where I wanted to work, I was at work at the same time everyday for the entire duration of the internship, and I was always asking questions and having engineering-based conversations with all my colleagues.”

实习与 Florida Power and Light, America's largest electric utility, 提供清洁, 负担得起的, reliable electrcity to more than 12 million people.

位置: Returning Summer College Intern I&C (Instruments and Controls)

经验: Being that my major is electrical engineering, I worked alongside electrical design engineers at the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant. It felt very satisfying to know that what I have been learning in college is applied in the real world, especially to keep nuclear components under control. My favorite part of the internship was going out in the field to look at what I was working on, and the networks amongst coworkers that I've built. It still blows my mind that I worked alongside some of the most intelligent engineers in the field for three months.

实习与 色调, the World's Smartest Home Gym, completely revolutionized the way people work out at home, with its sleek design and advanced A.I. 技术.

位置: Electrical Engineering Intern

职责: While I was at TONAL they wanted me to be exposed to as much information as possible so I worked on just about every part of the machine at some point. I spent a lot of time working with local labs doing FCC testing though, that was probably my biggest responsibility. Besides that I did lots of PCB fault testing. Some advice I would give to 学生 thinking about looking for internships is to just do it. Don't just look around locally, you'll have an adventure if you go elsewhere. I drove across the country alone to San Francisco with no plan and knowing no one who lived out there, and it was the best experience of my life. 只管去做, don't be scared to travel for your internship; I had no idea what I was getting into when I drove out of South Florida and I wouldn't change a thing, I wish I could do it again. The connections I made out there are priceless too, that's probably the most valuable part of the whole experience.
